In June 2022 I was assigned to a group project with two other Talent Stacker members. We had each recently passed our Salesforce admin certification and were all very new to building anything in Salesforce without the guidance of Trailhead or someone more experienced.
This project is the capstone in the Talent Stacker Salesforce Career Development program, which I joined in January 2021, but took my time actually completing.
During our first team meeting, I was chosen to be the leader of our group. For this project, we received an initial list of about 60 broad requirements, which we broke down into a little over 100 total requirements, covering everything from custom fields, junction objects, page layouts, flows, validation rules, sharing and visibility, reports and dashboards, and more. We divided the work that needed to be completed over four weeks and tracked everything in Jira.
At the end of our project, we completed a demo and training with our project sponsor. Below is the project highlight slide deck and our training deck.
My performance on this project earned me a recommendation by the Talent Stacker CEO directly to the company that hired me for my first Salesforce position.
